Building for the Future ~ Preserving the Past

EXPANSION & RENOVATION CONSTRUCTION PROJECT

Lewis County Public Library and Archives  in Hohenwald, TN serves over 12, 000 residents. Our library provides much more than just books. Hotspots, free wi-fi and patron computers, technology training, educational programming, and a community meeting space are just a few of the many resources provided in less than 5,000 square feet.

Our focus on the preservation of county archive materials has determined a need to create a large space to maintain and preserve important historical documents, as well as to provide a proper viewing room for visitors' research.  Additional areas of need include ADA compliant access throughout the building,  a technology lab, improved security systems, a larger community meeting room, more private study areas for patrons, and
more restrooms arch.  Additional areas of need include ADA compliant access throughout the building,  a technology lab, improved security systems, a larger community meeting room, more private study areas for patrons, and   more restrooms .
