Friends of the Lewis County Public Library is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, charitable group of volunteers
formed to support Lewis County Public Library and Archives of Hohenwald, TN. Focused on
community development through library development, our members are involved in fund-raising activities, advocacy, volunteerism, public awareness campaigns, & literacy programs. We are currently supporting a vital expansion project to double the size of our library. There are many ways to contribute to this Million Dollar construction plan to benefit the community of Lewis County!

Friends of the Library News

We are overjoyed to share that our library is the recipient of state grants that will provide the funding needed to expand and renovate the Lewis County Public Library and Archives!!! We are so very grateful to everyone that has donated, volunteered time, and advocated over the years for this much-needed construction project to serve our community.
Friends of the Lewis County Public Library has been selected as 2022 Tennessee Friend of the Year! Our award was presented at the Friends and Trustees Luncheon at the 2023 Tennessee Library Association Conference, and recognized at the 2023 Friends of Tennessee Libraries Conference.
